Sorry guys I have been missing for so long. Weekdays are usually spent slogging away at the office while on weekends I just want to laze at home rather than turn on the laptop and blog. So pardon the mini MIA. You may like to check out my daily little happenings via my Instagram though.

I finally had the time to head down to iKon Salon to tame my tresses :D I always look forward to my salon visits because I know my hair will be well taken care of and I'll get treated like a queen and leave the salon feeling like a million dollars :DDD

I was battling with really bad spilt ends cause I haven't been conditioning my hair for almost 4 months so I was really excite when Mel contacted me to try out the new Kerasilk Keratin Treatment.

This Kerasilk Keratin Treatment by GoldWell is the first customizable long lasting 2 component keratin treatment with 100% perfect results. It helps to make unruly and frizzy hair manageable and can last for as long as 5 months !

The process involves selecting different Keratin Shape and Keratin Smooth according to my desired shaping and smoothing results. But of course, I left this extremely important decision to the ever-so-professional Mel. After having shampooed my hair with the Kerasilk Purifying Shampoo, my hair is sectioned off and the balm is then applied and allowed to sit for 15 minutes. My hair is then blown dry and flat-ironed. After a final wash with the Keratin Care Shampoo, the Kerasilk Sealing Serum is applied to seal the KeraShape technology.

And the end result ?

You might think it will be those stiff and artificial rebonded hair but NO, its like natural soft hair !!

I went in with some beggar looking hair... And walked out looking like a QUEEN !!
(No, not because the perm was bad but cause I didn't condition it at all for a good four months)

I am totally sold because my hair feels super duper soft and luxe after that !!

I am absolutely lost for words as to how much I love this treatment. Everyone who knows me long enough will know how much woes I faced with my hair my entire life. I have the craziest natural curls and I had such a headache maintaining them that I decided to perm them once and for all. If you can't get rid of it, you live with it. But now that I am introduced to this amazing treatment, I can finally have soft and straight hair again !!

About 2 weeks back, Mom and I went to iKon to do some finishing touches to our hair.

Colour setting in

I told Mel that I wanted to have the same hair colour as the boyfriend so that I have complete the whole gentle Korean look. Can also conveniently act yi ge couple couple with the boyfriend right. But in the end, Mel chose something along ash brown cause he said the colour might turn out too lian for me. Gotta trust the professional man.

Lunch was at Sushi Express, AGAIN. Mom never fails to have Sushi Express everytime we are in Cityhall. I had my favorite usual, salmon don and seaweed salad. Oh by the way, this is the same sushi bar the boyfriend and I frequent several times when we went Taiwan 3 years back.

Here you go, my new hair for you. You might notice that it is significantly shorter than before and yes I sibeh heartpain the two inches of hair that got cut off cause my hair always take forever to grow. But whattheheck they were dry anyways due to my extreme blow drying bad habit so ya hair will grow again la.

I realise I have a lot of stuffs to catch up on blogging. Like birthday celebrations, gatherings, festives etc. Ever since my Panasonic camera died on me, I haven't been taking alot of photos and that's probably why I am always procrastinating to blog. I guess I really need to start working on those overdued posts. Or can I just leave them alone and just make do with what's happened in 2013 ?

Anyhow, for those who are interested in how my hair looks like now / those who haven't got enough of my hair, like myself (thick skin much), it's PHOTO SPAM time ! I don't usually wake up and put on makeup ok. I was just trying out the falsies and glitter liner that my friends got me for Christmas. Yes I had nothing else on my face yet decided to camho, don't judge me.

Okay la I'm quite sick of my face already. Last one spam my favouritest photo.

Hair Grooming : iKon

I was tidying up Blogger when I found this poor blogspot stashed under drafts for the longest time haha. Overduuuuueeeed blogpost here ! Sorry guys I have been kinda busy since last November and there's so many things I want to blog about but never had the time to really sit down and finish up the drafts.

Ok, shall not digress any further, today's post will be a hair post. I think I might had mentioned this before I can't remember but my boyfriend's uncle is a hair stylist and owns a hair salon so for the past 4 years or so, I have been with his salon - iKon and I am so thankful for that because I am sure all of you know it is definitely not easy to find a stylist that gives you what you had in mind but with iKon, I had never left the salon feeling disappointed or what nots.

So few months back, I think it's November or December, I had my hair curled. I have had natural curls and I had always wanted smooth and silky straight hair so rebonding was my only choice. Having done rebonding for years since I was in secondary school, I got to admit that I am getting bored of it. Everytime the roots start to grow, my crown gets fizzy and curly and the head just goes PONG ! Since I can't get rid of the curls, I might as well live with it and perm them.

So I texted Mel that I wanted to get my hair permed, headed down to iKon, and left the place with happy hair and soul. I kind of forgotten to take photos for this blogpost on that day but I promise I will make up with more photos on my next visit. So here's my only photo of my perm.. 

This was taken two days after my perm. The entire process was pretty long. Starting off with a wash and conditioning before blow drying and trimming, followed by straightening the crown area, setting the curlers to the bottom half of my hair, attaching them to the heat machine, adding neutralizers to make the curls stay and another round of wash, conditioning and treatment. But then again, the time and money spent was worth it cause I love my curls then when they were still fresh and tight and I am still loving them now that they have kind of loosen up a little so ya no complaints (:

And that's my recent hair experience for you. I promise I will do a better job and take better photos on my next visit. Anyways, I am sure alot of you had already fixed your hair for 2013. If not, having plans to get them done before the CNY. So do share with me what kinda hairstyles you have done or have in mind.
