SPONSORED REVIEW

About a week plus ago, a Nuffie contacted me and asked me to try out Loreal's latest skincare product - Youth Code Boosting Essence. I was extremely thrilled cause i've been contemplating to buy one off our local drugstore when i first saw the advertisement on my ChurpChurp and now i get to try it out FOR FREE ! Although it's just the trial size and it's kinda mini but hey, its better than buying the real stuff only to realise it doesn't work on your face right ?!

So getting an item that i've been wanting to try out + it's free = DOUBLE THE HAPPINESS ! Basically this product promises TWICE the effectiveness of our current skincare routine by doubling the absorption power of our skin. Like how wonderful is this right ? I'm sure many people (like me) spend on skincare products that doesn't come too cheap, only to have 1% of the product being absorbed by our skin. So when I found out that the Youth Code Boosting Essence will increase my skin's absorption power, I knew I had to try this shit.

According to the website, the Youth Code Boosting Essence is enriched with Pro-Gen™ Technology, Adenosine and HEPES aka Hydroxy Ethyl Piperazine Ethane Sulfonic acid.
Pro-Gen™ Technology, or Biolysat (a product of fermented Bifidus bacterial) that increases the expression of recovery genes involved in cellular renewal.

Adenosine, long known to be a constitutive component of DNA, which slows the effects of ageing in skin.

HEPES (Hydroxy Ethyl Piperazine Ethane Sulfonic acid) which has a pro-exfoliating action, which improves absorption of active ingredients.
Think about this, i'm 24 this year and come next november, i'll be in my MID TWENTIES ! It freaks me so bad just by thinking about it. At my age, I welcome anything that claims to be anti-aging. 老娘 is a poor fresh grad la you see, cannot afford those super atas anti-aging skin care products, can only afford drugstore products haha. And with the past 16 years of studying, midnight oil burning and partying, my skin has become yellow and dull and dehydrated and pimply and FUGLY.

As i've mentioned earlier, i received the trial size and the moment i got it and tried it on my face, i flew to my nearest local drugstore and bought the full size bottle. I was totally totally totally totally sold. The serum comes extremely light and most importantly, it doesn't leave a shine on my face and it's absorbed into my skin really quickly, giving my face instant smoothness. No joke, my skin really felt like baby's bum. Even my mom claims that my skin looked better than before and is now using the Youth Code Boosting Essence too.

The actual sized Youth Code Boosting Essence comes with a dropper applicator so it's really convenient and hygienic. How you use this is really simple.

Step 1: Cleanse and pat dry your face
Step 2: Drop one drop of the Youth Code Boosting Essence and smothered it all over your face
Step 3: You may continue with your usual skincare routine. For me, i went on to pat my toner into my face, then it's my moisturiser, and then my SK-II serum.

And i swear upon my name that you can immediately feel that your skin is softer and more supple after step 2. And one drop is way enough for the whole face, even for my mom whose face is slightly bigger than mine, one drop is enough so a little goes a really long way. My mom and i have been using our trial size twice a day for almost 2 weeks now and we are still using it. If you ask if i'm gonna repurchase this, my answer is YES. Definitely yes. Like who doesn't want younger looking skin right ?!

Sometimes, life is so unfair ! Girls gotta spend so much money and time to go for facials, and buy good skin care products, whereas the guys don’t. All they do is use tap water to wash their face. And in the end, the common consensus is that guys look more charismatic and attractive as they age, more man.

So what are you waiting for ? Grab your Youth Code Boosting Essence at your nearest drugstore now ! Really, it’s never too early for us girls to start taking care of our youth !
